Hugh Lindstrom of Wesley Chapel, FL (2008) began the day one stroke back of Andres Quintero of Venezuela (2008), but played a solid second round to win the boys 13-15 division.  Roy Steinberg of Caesarea, ISRAEL (2008) made a charge up the leaderboard with a final round of 71 to finish in 2nd place.  CJ Pellerano of Miami Lakes, FL (2010) and Andres Quintero of Venezuela (2008) finished T3.

On Saturday in the girls division of the Naples Beach Jr. Golf Classic, Elisa Aoki of Japan (2009) fired a 2 under par 70 to lead Brianna Seo of Korea (2007) by 1 stroke.  Three girls were tied for 3rd at even par after one round:  Kendra Little of Bradenton, FL, who was the Girls division winner at World Woods in November, Christina Miller of Bradenton, FL, and Marcarena Vergara of Chile.

On Sunday, 13 year old Christina Miller fired the Low Round of the day with a bogey- free 2 under par 70.  Her round put her tied with overnight leader Elisa Aoki and forced a playoff.  The ladies played the 1st and 2nd holes and Miller, who finished in 8th place at World Woods last month, earned her first FCWT win in this field of 23 girls here at Naples.  Her best finish last season was a 2nd place at the FCWT Wedgefield event. This win earns her an automatic exemption to the National Championship and a nomination for the FCWT All-American team.  Miss Aoki, has already earned an exemption to the National Championship by virtue of her win at Champions Gate two weeks ago.  She too will be nominated as an FCWT All-American.  Brianna Seo of Korea (2007) finished T3 with Kate Scarpetta of Moosic, PA (2007) at +3 for the event.  Miss Scarpetta scored the second lowest round of the day at one under to move into the tie for 3rd.  Katie Detlefsen of Eagan, MN (2007) finished in 5th place at +6.
