FROM San Franciso and San Jose:
Take 101 South to 156 West for Monterey. 156 West will become 1 South. Take the HWY 218/ Del Rey Oaks exit. Take a left at the stop sign then a right at the 3rd ligth. This will take you directly into the parking lot. Approx. drive time: SF = 2 hrs; San Jose = 1.5 hrs
FROM Los Angeles and areas South of Monterey (Bakersfield):
Take either 5 North to 46 West to 101 North or just 101 North. Off 101 North exit Abbott off the left side the Hwy. Stay in the left lane. Take a left at 1st light (Harris Rd.) harris Rd will dead end into Hwy 68, take Hwy 68 for Monterey. (Go under the overpass and turn left to merge onto 68 for Monterey). Stay on 68 awhile and take a right at HWY 218/ Cnayone de rey Blvd, (there will be a traffic light). At the 5th light take a left into the parking lot. (5 to 6 hours from Los Angeles depending on traffic)
FROM FRESNO:
Take 99 North to 152 West. Take 156 for Hollister/San Juan Bautista (saty in left lane it will become a left turning lane). Don't make any turns off this road, STAY STRAIGHT. From 156 West take 101 South. You will be on 101 South for a bit then take 156 West for Monterey. 156 West will become 1 South. Take the Del Rey Oaks/ Hwy 218 exit. Take a left at stop sign and a right at the 3rd light. This will take you directly into the parking lot. (Fresno = 3 hours).
FROM SACRAMENTO/STOCKTON area:
Take Hwy 5 South to 33 South -- (going through the Santa Nella, its a shortcut). Take 152 West to 156 West for Hollister/ San Juan Bautista (stay in left lane it will become a left turnign lane). Don't make any turns off of this road. STAY STRAIGHT. From 156 West take 101 South. You will be on 101 South for a bit then take 156 WEst for Monterey. 156 West will become 1 South. Take the del Rey Oaks/ Hwy 218 exit. Take a left at stop sign and a right at the 3rd light. This will take you directly to the parking lot. (Sacramento = 3 to 3.5 hours) |
