Wilson Bowen of Winnetka, IL (2008) got it going early and fired the only sub-par round on Saturday at the Feather Sound Open.  Bowen, whose best finish so far this season is T9, came in at one under par with a 2 stroke advantage over Chas Boggini and Paul ParkBowen made birdie on 1, 3, 6 and 7 to make the turn at 4 under par.  He gave 3 back on the back nine, but is happy to be in the lead.  Chas Boggini of South Glastonbury, CT (2008) carded 3 birdies on the day to finish tied with Paul Park of Wayne, NJ (2007) at even par 72.  Esteban Calisto Albornoz of Quito, ECUADOR (2007), one of 3 players to card an eagle in this division, is in 4th place at +1 (73).  Adam Dolezal of Lake Forest, IL (2007) will start the final round in 5th place.

In the Boys 13-15 division, Taylor Bowen of Rehoboth, MA (2009), has a one stroke advantage after opening with a round of 74 (+2).  Bowen carded 3 birdies on the day to lead this division.  Starting in second place on Sunday will be Andrew Colvin of Longwood, FL (2009).  Andrew carded a round of 75 after opening with a birdie on # 1.  Alex Lyall of Novi, MI (2009), the only player to card an eagle in this division will begin the final round in 3rd place.  Lyall's eagle came on the par 5 6th hole.  In fourth place is Devin Patel of Celebration, FL.  Patel finished 5th at Wedgefield earlier this season.  Andrew Kim of Old Tappan, NJ (2010) and Jack Schroeder of Naples, FL (2008) are currently tied for 5th place at 80.

In the Boys 11-12 division, Motin Yeung of CHINA (2012) opened with a round of +9 81 to lead all scores by 8.  John Boehme of Jacksonville Beach, FL (2012) is currently in 2nd and Jason Hak of CHINA (2012) is in 3rd.

Ji Young Oh of South Korea (2007) is out to the first round lead in the Feather Sound Open.  She has a one-stroke advantage over FCWT newcomer Victoria Kiser of Orlando, FL (2011).  Miss Oh carded a round of 2 over par 74 but birdied the last hole (#18) and hopes to carry that momentum into Sunday's final round.  Miss Kiser, who will begin Sunday just one stroke back of Miss Oh, had 2 birdies on the day on # 1 and # 3.  She leads Jessica Korda of Bradenton, FL (2011) and Elisa Aoki of Japan (2009) by 1 stroke.  Miss Korda is playing in her first FCWT event of the season while Miss Aoki won at Champions Gate and has two second place finishes so far this season.  Senior Molly Aronsson of Shelburne, VT will begin the final round in 5th place.

In the Girls 13 and under division, twelve year old Allie Kiser of Orlando, FL (2012) is out to the lead in her first FCWT event.  Miss Kiser carded 3 birdies on the day on numbers 3, 12 and 18 and will have a 5 stroke lead entering the final round.  Simin Feng of Beijing, CHINA (2013) and Hee Jeong Lim of KOREA (2011) are tied at 84.
