A frost delay at the Bermuda Run Classic resulted in a 10:00am shotgun. The weather cleared quickly and turned out to be a beautiful autumn day despite the chilly start.

FCWT newcomer Spencer Lawson of Raleigh, NC (2010) fired a final round of 3 under par 69 to win his first FCWT event.

On Saturday, during the first round of the Bermuda Run Classic, 16 year old Ryan Davis from Salem, VA (2009) led the division in birdies with 6 and fired a 2 under par 70 to lead all scores.  Davis, who finished runner-up at this event last season, had to settle for 2nd once again as Lawson carded 5 birdies on Sunday and only 2 bogeys to go with his opening round of even par 72, allowing him to finish at 3 under par for the event.  Evan Beck of Virginia Beach, VA (2009) moved into 3rd place on Sunday with a final round of 3 over par to finish just ahead of Bo Andrews of Raleigh, NC (2009) and Jonathan Hammond, also of Raleigh (2009)Brandon Wright (2009), who finished 7th in this event last season, finished T6 with Michael Cromie of Cary, NC (2010), who won this event at the 13-15 division last season.  Also finishing T6 were Daniel Walker of Earlysville, VA (2009), who won the French Creek Open in October, and Wade Wawner of Virginia Beach, VA (2009).  John Conners of Apex, NC (2009), Isaac Spencer of Winston-Salem, NC (2009), Stefan Brewer of Charlotte, NC (2009) and Jay Mulieri of Silver Springs, MD (2008) finished T10 at 157.

Special congratulations to Bryan Otis of Fort Mill, SC (2008) who had a hole-in-one during his practice round on # 12 from 176 yards, his 3rd Career ACE.

In the Boys 13-15 division, Trevor Cone of Concord, NC (2011) carded two eagles on Saturday and went wire-to-wire as he held off  Davis Womble of High Point, NC (2012) to win the Bermuda Run Classic.  Womble had his 3rd career hole-in-one today on #12 - he holed a 7 iron from 155 yards, which helped him post the Low Round of 73, but wasn't quite enough to force a playoff with Cone.  Jared Howard of Dublin, OH (2011) finished in 3rd place in this his first FCWT event.

Zach Weaver of Williamsburg, VA (2013) shaved 10 strokes off his opening round and won the Boys 11-12 division.

Meghan Moore of Bahama, NC (2009) began the final round 2 strokes back of overnight leader eighteen year old Hunter Ross of Manakin-Sabot, VA (2008), but finished strong on Sunday with a final round of 1 over par 73 to earn her first FCWT title.  Miss Moore, a 2nd year player, finished T3 with Miss Ross last season at this very venue.  Miss Moore finished atop the birdie column with 7 and the par column with 19 for the weekend.  For Miss Ross, a 5th year player, second place was an improvement over last season, but still 3 strokes shy of the win.  Lauren Greenlief of Oakton, VA (2008) and Elizabeth Brightwell of Nellysford, VA (2009) finished T3 at 164.  Whitney Rhodes of Staunton, VA (2010) and Sarah Almond of Albemarle, NC (2010) finished T5 at 173.
