Sixteen year old Cheng Tsung Pan of TAIWAN, a first year player, is just one stroke back in 2nd place at 2 under par.  Murray and Pan will need to be aware of the two players tied for third as they are both FCWT All-Americans.  Roy Steinberg of ISRAEL (2008), who carded an eagle on Saturday, finished at even par 72 to tie Stanislav Matus of CZECH REPUBLIC (2008) for 3rd place.  They will start 2 strokes ahead of 5 players tied for 5th:  Michael Cermak of Chicago, IL (2008), Zhong Yang Fu of Beijing, CHINA (2010), David Ostrowski of Burlington, NC (2008), William Sjaichudin of INDONESIA (2008), John-Christian Templeton of Sarasota, FL (2009), and Eduardo Chavez of Hillsborough, CA (2009).

After a cool and breezy start, the Naples Open warmed to a nice afternoon.  The 2007 FCWT Laura Diaz Girls Eastern Region Player of the Year, Andrea Watts of Bradenton, FL (2008), carded the only sub-par round on Saturday and leads the Girls 13-18 division by 3 strokes.  Miss Watts' 4 birdies were enough to put her in the lead heading into the final round.  She will have to watch 2nd place player Christina Miller (2010), also of Bradenton and also an FCWT All-American.  Miss Miller's opening round of 74, puts her just ahead of 5 players tied for 3rd at 75.  Gabrielle Balit of Montreal, CANADA (2009), who led the field in pars with 14 is tied for 3rd with Susana Benavides of Cochabamba, BOLIVIA (2009), Maria Piccio of the PHILIPPINES (2009), who won the World Woods event in October, Jessica Korda of Bradenton, FL (2011), the defending Champion of this event, and Megan Pak of New Orleans, LA (2009).
