On Saturday in the Girls division, 14 year old Paige Spirinac of Monument, CO (2011) led The Ridge at Castle Pines event after an opening round of 78.   Paige, a 3rd year FCWT player, finished 2nd at this event in May after the event scheduled for last October had to be re-scheduled due to a snowstorm.  While it did not snow this year, a cold front moved through Colorado and dropped the high temperatures more than 20 degrees.  The good thing between Saturday and Sunday's weather was the wind died down.  On Saturday winds were 24 mph with gusts near 40, in front of the cold front.  Paige led the field in pars with 23 and finished 10 shots ahead of 2nd place.

Audrey Yowell of McPherson, KS (2009) carded the Low Round on Sunday with a 75 that allowed her to take home 2nd place.  Grace Duboc of Greenwood Village, CO (2009), who led this division in birdies with 5, and senior Leslie McGetrick of Highland Ranch, CO finished tied for 3rd at 167.  Twelve year old Claudia Davis of Centennial, CO (2013) led the younger girls and finished 7th overall.

Eighteen year old Kory Harrell of Colorado Springs, CO (2008), who finished T3 at this event in May, won his first FCWT event in three seasons.  Harrell, who began the day tied with Nick Allen of Littleton, CO (2010) after they both carded rounds of four over par (75) on Saturday, finished strong despite the 20 plus degree change in temperature from Saturday to Sunday's round.  On Sunday, Harrell carded a final round 72 and finished at 147 for the event.  Harrell led this division in birdies with 7.  Nolan Meyer of Harrisburg, SD (2008) carded a final round of 74 to finish in 2nd place, by far his best FCWT finish in 3 seasons.  Kaleb Mahanes of Erie, CO (2008) moved into a tie for 3rd place with Nick Allen, with a final round of 72.   The Low Round of Sunday went to Matt Rawitzer of Bellingham, WA (2009) with an even par 71.  Sixteen year old Rawitzer finished T5 with Robert Belz of San Antonio, TX (2008), who improved his final round by 8 strokes over Saturday's round.  H.J. Roberts of Albuquerque, NM (2008) and Zachary Chyz of Las Vegas, NV 2009) finished T7 at 155.  Michael Tilghman of Greenwood Village, CO (2008) and David Best of Leawood, KS (2009) rounded out the Top 10 at 156.

In the Boys 13-15 division Tyler Engel of Castle Rock, CO (2011) led wire-to-wire to win his first FCWT event.  Twenty-five pars on the weekend helped Engel to his 8 stroke victory and earned him exempt status for the remainder of the season and an exemption to the National Championship in May.  Wyndham Clark of Greenwood Village, CO (2012) carded a final round of 73 to catapult up the leaderboard and finish in 2nd place after starting in a tie for 5th.  Also carding a final round of 73 was Andrew Cornella of Colorado Springs, CO (2011), who finished in 3rd place.  Taylor White of Dakota Dunes, SD (2011) and Tyler Lovato of Westminster, CO (2011) finished in a tie for 4th place.

On Saturday in the Boys 11-12 division, Evan Mcleod of Pebble Beach, CA (2013) carded an 80 to lead all scores.  On Sunday, Ethan Freeman of Littleton, CO (2013) rallied with a final round of 76 forcing a playoff between the two veteran players.
