What a difference a year makes. Parker Clowers of Jacksonville, FL (2008) came to the Sea Island event last year and struggled. In 2007, he opened with a round of 83 and then finished with an 86, putting him at T55 out of 70 in the Boys 16-18 division. Not so this season. Clowers fired an opening round of even par on Saturday and was sitting atop the leaderboard heading into the final round. He led this division in birdies with 6 on Saturday and carried that momentum into Sunday's final round. On Sunday, Clowers finished with a 75, one stroke ahead of Dykes Harbin of Augusta, GA (2009) to win his first FCWT event!

Harbin earned his second Top 3 of the season, having previously finished T2 at Amelia Island.

Jamey Salmon of Jacksonville, FL (2009) finished in 6th place at 151, just 4 strokes out of the lead. Jeremy Wells of Prince George, VA (2009), who began the day tied for 2nd finished 7th while William Bazzell of Atlanta, GA (2008), who also began the day tied for 2nd, finished tied for 8th with Edward Fenwick of York, ENGLAND, who moved up the board from tied for 12th. Finishing tied for 10th at 155 were Brant DeLongy of Winter Park, FL (2009) and Thomas Bradshaw of Columbia, SC (2010).
The weather at the Sea Island Open was much nicer Sunday than Saturday. It was still cold in the morning, but clear skies and sunny. It warmed up to mid 50's by the early afternoon.

On Saturday in the Boys 13-15 division, Joshua Lee of Orange Park, FL (2013) fired a 4 under par round of 68 to lead all scores. Lee, who was the 2006-07 FCWT Player of Promise after winning 4 regular season events in the Boys 11-12 division and then went on to win the Boys 11-12 National Championship, had been close to a win at the 13-15 level a couple of times this season, but had not won, until now. On Sunday, Lee began the day with a 6 stroke advantage over 15 year old William Buchanan of Greensboro, NC (2011), who is playing in his first FCWT event. Joshua , who led in birdies for the weekend with 7, was able to hold onto that lead and earn his first title at the 13-15 division by finishing four strokes ahead of
