Fourteen year old Paige Spiranac of Monument, CO (2011) held off seventeen year old Jordan Ontiveros of Alamo, CA (2009) on Sunday to earn her third win of the season at the Wigwam Open. Paige becomes only the second young lady to earn three wins this season; she joins Victoria Kiser of Orlando, FL (2010), in that category. On Saturday, Paige led the Girls 13-18 division by carding a round of 75 (+3). Paige tied Shelby Martinek for the most pars on Saturday with 11 and finished atop that statistical category for the event with 22.

Jordan

Miss Ontiveros, who began the day in 4th place, gave it a good shot on Sunday. She carded the Low Round of this division with a 72 (+2) and came within one stroke of forcing a playoff when she birdied the final hole (# 9) and Paige made bogey. It was Jordan's third Top 5 finish of the season. Jordan also led this division in birdies with 7 for the event.

Shelby Martinek

Shelby Martinek of Tempe, AZ (2011) finished in 3rd place, her first top 3 of the season. Shelby Phillips of Gilbert, AZ (2011) , who finished T4 in the Sun Devil Classic in November, finished 4th on Sunday at 156, 5 strokes back of the winner. Ashley McKenney of Scottsdale, AZ (2008), who carded the second best round of the day (76), finished in 5th place giving her two wins, a 2nd, a 3rd and a 5th for the season.
