Senior Tyler Wooldridge of Carefree, AZ, carded a near perfect round on Saturday for the first 18 holes of the Wigwam Open. Wooldridge had only one bogey when he signed his scorecard and finished at 2 under par 70. His 14 pars led this division and he'll have a one shot lead heading into Sunday's final round. Matthew Miller of Pleasanton, CA (2008) is just one stroke back at 71 (-1) as both players will be looking for their first win. They will have to bring their "A" games on Sunday as there is a 3some tied for third at even par: fourteen year old Trace Libby of Glendale, AZ (2011), a 2006-07 FCWT All-American; senior Charlie Marusiak of Phoenix, AZ, who finished T3 at La Cantera; and 16 year old William Skinner of Boulder, CO (2009), who led this division in birdies with 6 on Saturday. Fifteen year old Sam Saunders of Albuquerque, another 2006-07 FCWT All-American, is in 6th place at 73. Sam finished 2nd at Bear Creek West earlier this season, so he is not out of contention.
