Senior David Erdy of Boonville, IN won the boys 16- 18 on the 3rd playoff hole (#18) w/ a birdie after he and Jace Long both made par on 18 & 10
Fourth year FCWT player Jace Long of Dixon, MO (2008) led the field at the Purdue Open after carding the only sub-par round on Saturday in the Boys 16-18 division. Long, gave it his best shot on Sunday to earn his first win, but came up just a bit short as David Erdy of Boonville, IN (2008), who finished T12 at this event last season, birdied the 3rd playoff hole for the win. Erdy's opening round of 72 put him all alone in second place at the start of the final round. He and Long battled all day and ended in a tie at the end of 36 holes. This time around the playoff went Erdy's way, earning him Exempt status for the remainder of the season and an exemption to the National Championship.
Corey Ziedonis of Indianapolis, IN (2009), who began the final round tied for 5th, fired a 2 under par 70 to finish in 3rd place. Earning the Low Round Honors with a 67 was Will Nixon of Jefferson City, MO (2009) who finished in 4th after starting the day outside of the Top 10. Tying Nixon for 4th place was Nate McCoy of West Des Moines, IA (2008). Anthony Aicher of Wausau, WI (2009), who won last weekend at Notre Dame, finished at 148 in 6th place, while Jacob Lammert of Hartland, WI (2008) was just one stroke back at 149 in 7th. Barrett Kelpin of Kalamazoo, MI (2008), Andrew Walukonis of Traverse City, MI (2009) and Zachary Henderson of Goshen, IN (2008) finished T8 to round out the Top 10.

Patrick Rodgers of Avon, IN (2011) won the boys 13- 15 on the first playoff hole (#10) w/ a birdie. Sorenson made bogey.
Steven Sorenson of Hartland, WI (2010) and Patrick Rodgers of Avon, IN (2011) began the final round as they started it - tied for the lead. The two boys each carded rounds of 72 on Saturday. Then they both carded rounds of 74 on Sunday - so they headed to a playoff. Rodgers who started the final round last weekend at Notre Dame took home 2nd place that time around. This time, he took home the Championship. His birdie on the first playoff hole, earned him exempt status for the remainder of the season along with his first FCWT win.
Trevor Rosekrans of Haslett, MI (2010) moved up from 4th place to finish in 3rd on Sunday. FCWT newcomer Nick Dennis of Waterford, MI (2011) finished in 4th place at 153. Sam Weber of Hartland, WI (2010), who won over Rodgers last weekend at Notre Dame, finished in 5th place at 156.

Evan Mcleod of Pebble Beach, CA (2013) was leading the Boys 11-12 division by 10 strokes after carding an opening round of 74 on Saturday. On Sunday, Mcleod carded a 76 to give him a 20 stroke victory. Drew Langan of Winnetka, IL (2013) finished in 2nd place at 170, 16 strokes better than his finish at this event last season when he finished in 4th.
In the Girls division of the Purdue Open, Lindsey Solberg of Verona, WI (2008) was co-leading with Trisha Witherby of Richmond, IN (2011) after each young lady carded an opening round of +1 73 on Saturday. Solberg, who won the Notre Dame event last season, was looking for her first win of the current season on Sunday as she headed to the 10th tee. Solberg was ready. A birdie on her first hole set the tone for the rest of her round. Solberg carded 3 more birdies on her way to a round of 2 under par 70 to finish at 1 under par for the event.

Miss Witherby carded her second consecutive round of 73 to finish in 2nd at 146. Meghan Potee of Noblesville, IN (2010), who led this division in pars with 25, carded a final round of 74 to move into 3rd place. Emily Dixon of Zionsville, IN (2009) finished in 4th place after rounds of 78-77, while FCWT newcomer Milena Savich of Carmel, IN (2008) finished in 5th place.
