Boys 13-15 Division

Ingham

Ingham takes over

Palm Beach Garden, FL: The Opening Round of the Boys 11-15 Championship saw 70 players from 5 countries and 21 states tee off the Haig Course.

Yoon

James Yoon of Asuncion, PARAGUAY (2012), who was recognized as the FCWT Boys 13-15 East Region Player of the Year at Friday night's Awards Dinner, was the first player in at even par. That held as the lead score and was matched only by

Waugh

Clancy Waugh of North Palm Beach, FL (2013) who carded an eagle on the par 4 8th hole on Saturday, the first player to do so in this division Waugh finished 3rd last season in the Boys 11-12 National Championship.

On Sunday,

Ingham

Chris Ingham of Pinecrest, FL (2011) who began the day tied for 3rd with

Clark

Wyndham Clark of Greenwood Village, CO (2012) and

Smyers

Scott Smyers of Lakeland, FL (2010) fired a round of 4 under par 68 to take over the lead. Ingham will start the final round with a 2 stroke advantage over Clark. Clark won the University of New Mexico event this season and had three Top 3 finishes. Smyers, who won the Candler Hills Open and finished 2nd at Feather Sound, will start the final round tied for 3rd with Cole Chelle of Edmonton, AB, CANADA (2010). Chelle, who won the Mission Hills Invitational, fired a 3 under par 69 on Sunday to move into contention for the title. Ingham, who played in the National Championship last season, but opened with an 83, only had one bogey on Sunday in his round of 68.

Austin Powell

Austin Powell of Jupiter, FL (2011), who won the PGA Golf Club Open in September, will start in 5th place at 148, followed by a threesome tied for 6th:

Chad M

Chad Merzbacher of Dublin, OH (2012), who won at Tiburon, and began the day tied for 9th; Charlie Marshall of Lake Forest, IL (2012) who posted a 72 on Sunday to bolt up the leaderboard; and Clancy Waugh.

Brendan Connolly of Castle Rock, CO (2011) will start the final round tied for 9th at 151 (10 strokes back of the lead) with

Boys 11-12 Division

Palm Beach Garden, FL: The Boys 11-12 FCWT National Championship teed off on Sunday morning for the second round of play on the Haig Course. Sixteen players from 5 states and 5 foreign countries make up the field.

Petefish

Overnight leader, Christopher Petefish of Danville, CA (2014), held onto his lead and will enter the final round with a 3 stroke advantage over

Doyle

Ben Doyle of San Diego, CA (2014). Doyle was the first to top the leaderboard on Saturday with a round of +4 (76). But when Christopher Petefish of Danville, CA (2014) arrived in the scoring area, he took over the lead. Petefish, who was named one of three Players of Promise for the youngest divisions of the FCWT, opened with a round of 75 (+3) then posted a round of 76 on Sunday. Petefish had 6 wins this season and finished no lower than 3rd in any of his events. He began Round Two with a 1 stroke advantage over Doyle and Langan, who were tied for 2nd. Doyle now holds 2nd place by himself. Petefish knows that Doyle, who won three regular season events this season (Mission Hills Open, PGA West and La Costa), will give him a contest and he will need to bring his "A" game one more time for Monday's Final Round.

Osama Khan of BARBADOS (2014) who began Round Two tied for 6th at 80, 5 strokes back of the lead. He is still 5 strokes back of our leader, but he now is in sole possession of third place.

Snyder

David Snyder of Austin, TX (2016), who led this division in pars on Saturday with 12, will start the Final Round in 4th place at 157. One stroke back of David is another 10 year old,

Zhang

Terrence Zhang of Vancouver, CANADA (2015). Zhang

who won the Legends at Orange Lake event, was named to the Faces of the Future Team with Snyder, Doyle and Petefish. Moving up from 8th place into 6th place is

Jaramillo

Daniel Jaramillo of COLOMBIA (2014), also named to the Faces of the Future Team and named a Player of Promise on Friday night for his 6 wins in the Eastern Region.

Kristian Perry of Boca Raton, FL (2015) moved up to 8th place while co-leading this division in birdies with 4 for the event so far. James Riley of Hattiesburg, MS (2015) also has 4 birdies through 36 holes. Petefish is leading in pars with 25.
