Scores go higher but, Ingham hangs on to win
Palm Beach Garden, FL: The largest Boys 13-15 field to date for an FCWT National Championship teed off on the Haig Course on Saturday for the opening round of play with 70 players from 5 countries and 21 states.

James Yoon of Asuncion, PARAGUAY (2012), who was recognized as the FCWT Boys 13-15 East Region Player of the Year at Friday night's Awards Dinner, and

Clancy Waugh of North Palm Beach, FL (2013) shared the lead at the end of Round One at even par. Waugh finished 3rd last season in the Boys 11-12 National Championship.

Scott Smyers of Lakeland, FL (2010), took over the lead by firing a round of 4 under par 68. Ingham thus began the final round with a 2 stroke advantage over Clark, who won the University of New Mexico event this season and had three Top 3 finishes. Smyers, who won the Candler Hills Open and finished 2nd at Feather Sound, began the final round tied for 3rd with

Cole Chelle of Edmonton, AB, CANADA (2010). Chelle, who won the Mission Hills Invitational, fired a 3 under par 69 on Sunday to move into contention for the title.
Ingham played in the National Championship last season, but opened with an 83 and finished in a tie for 38th at 248. On Monday, he could see a win in sight. All he needed was to play 18 more holes of golf. Monday's round was not his best, with a 5 over par score, but Chris had built himself enough of a lead that he was able to take home the title with a 3 stroke win at 218: 30 strokes better than last season and 38 positions higher!
Wyndham Clark and Cole Chelle, who led this division in birdies with 11, shared the 2nd place honors finishing at 221.

Ben Esparaza of Tucson, AZ (2011), who began the day tied for 9th, carded a final round of even par (72) to finish in a tie for 4th place with

Austin Powell of Jupiter, FL (2011). Powell, who won the PGA Golf Club Open in September, began the final round in 5th place at 148. Esparaza won the Tucson Classic in November.
Michael Decker of Dallas, TX (2013) earned the Low Round honors on Monday with a 2 under par 70 that allowed him to finish in a tie for 6th place with

Petefish Prevails~ wire to wire for the WIN!
Palm Beach Garden, FL: The Boys 11-12 FCWT National Championship teed off for Round One on Saturday morning. Sixteen players from 5 states and 5 foreign countries took to the Haig Course between 9:18 and 9:36am.
When everyone had finished for the day, Christopher Petefish of Danville, CA (2014), had set the pace with an opening round of 75.

Drew Langan of Winnetka, IL (2013) were tied for 2nd at 76.
After Sunday's round, Petefish was still atop the leaderboard, with a three stroke advantage over Doyle. Petefish, who was named one of three Players of Promise for the youngest divisions of the FCWT, only had one round left to earn the title he has pursued all season: Boys 11-12 FCWT National Champion.
Petefish, who led the way in pars this weekend with 36, finished strong with his best round of the event, a 73, that earned him the Champion's title by 4 strokes over his consistent competitor Ben Doyle. Both boys represented California very well this weekend.

Ten year old Terrence Zhang of Vancouver, CANADA (2015), finished in 3rd place at 236.

Osama Khan of BARBADOS (2014) was just one stroke back of Zhang at 237, finishing in 4th place.
