Ten girls teed off in the Girls 11-14 division of the Laura Diaz FCWT 2008 National Championship representing 5 states.

Thirteen year old Carly Goldstein of Coral Springs, FL (2013) took the first round lead with a 77. Miss Goldstein finished 5th at the Inverrary East Open in the Girls 13-18 division. On Sunday she continued to lead with a round of 75 that put her at 152 (+8) for the event. Carly leads the field in birdies with 6 and also leads in par 5 performance with a 4.88 average for the event. She will begin the final round with a 6 stroke advantage over

schroeder

14 year old Bryce Schroeder of Pueblo, CO (2012), who leads in both par 3 and par 4 performance, and

Liu

11 year old Stephanie Liu of St. Albans, MO (2015). Miss Liu, who is currently leading in pars with 25, won two events during the regular season and was named to the Faces of the Future team at Friday night's Awards Dinner.

Samantha Wagner

Samantha Wagner of Easton, PA (2015), who was named the Player of Promise for the Laura Diaz Girls 11-14 division for her 4 wins this season, will start the final round in 4th place at 159.

Lauren Gros

Lauren Gros of Gainesville, FL (2014), 12, who won the Eagle Creek Open, is in 5th place at 166.

The Laura Diaz FCWT 2008 Girls National Championship continues on the Squires Course at PGA National with over 65 young ladies representing 10 countries and 21 states.

Victoria Kiser

Setting the pace early on Saturday was Victoria Kiser of Orlando, FL (2010). Miss Kiser, who was named the Girls East Region Player of the Year at Friday night's Awards Dinner, continued to lead at the end of Sunday's round after posted a one under par 71. During the regular season, Tori won 3 events, had 6 Top 3 finishes and 8 top 5 finishes. She is currently leading this division in pars with 26. Two strokes back, but still in contention for the title, is

L Beck

Laetitia Beck of Caesaria, ISRAEL (2010). Miss Beck won twice this season and had 5 Top 3 finishes, for which she was named a 1st Team FCWT All-American on Friday night. Miss Beck matched Miss Kiser's second round score with a 71 of her own. She leads this division in birdies with 8.

Kyle Roig of Pembroke Pines, FL (2011) is on the move. After beginning the second round tied for 6th, Kyle is now in 3rd place after a round of 73. The 15 year old finished 6th here last year and is looking to improve that for this season.

Chung

Karen Chung of Livingston, NJ (2013), who won the Mystic Dunes event, is also on the move. A round of 73 on Sunday moved her up from tied for 9th to 4th place.

Carolin Pinegger

Carolin Pinegger of GERMANY (2009) matched the Low Round score with a 71 of her own that moved her into the top 10 after an uncharacteristic opening round of 80. She will begin the final round in a tie for 5th with:

Bauman

Victoria Bauman of River Hills, WI (2009), Samantha Morrell of North Kingstown, RI (2009), who won the New England Open, and

D Lendl

Daniela Lendl of Bradenton, FL (2011). Miss Lendl, who was presented the "For the Good of the Game Award" on Friday night, along with Wilson Bowen of Winnetka, IL, won twice this season: La Costa and Feather Sound, the only player in this division to win on each coast.

Maria Piccio of the PHILIPPINES (2009), who won the World Woods event,

Susana Benavides of BOLIVIA (2009), and Simone Strauss of Rancho Mirage, CA (2009), who carded an even par on Sunday, will start the final round tied for 9th at 152.
