 Sixteen year old Chris Blystone of Santa Maria, CA (2010) fired a 3 under par 69 to open the Coyote Creek Open.  Blystone, a first year FCWT player, is playing his 3rd event.  Last weekend Chris finished T6 at the ASU Classic.  On Sunday, he will be looking to go home with the title.  To do so, he will have to hold off Dash Lindsell of Burlingame, CA (2009).  Dash carded the only other sub-par round on Saturday with a 1 under par 71.  Dash, a 2nd year FCWT player, is playing in his first event of the season.  The two will be paired for the final round with

Matthew Seramin of San Geronimo, CA (2010)Seramin will start the final round at +1 and tied for 3rd with

Cory McElyea of Santa Cruz, CA (2010) and

Matthew Hansen of Los Osos, CA (2010).  Another threesome is tied for 6th place at 74 and will start 5 strokes back of the leader: 

Anton Arboleda of La Canada, CA (2010),

Jonathan Garrick of Atherton, CA (2012), and

Justin Pagila of Dublin, CA (2013).

In the Boys 13-15 division

Local favorite Christopher Petefish of Danville, CA (2014) leads all scores with a round of 74.  Petefish, who won 7 times last season at the Boys 11-12 division level, including the FCWT National Championship, will start two strokes ahead of Tommy Economou of Hillsborough, CA (2011) and Kyle Bowser of Danville, CA (2012)Christopher led this division in pars on Saturday with 13, while Kyle led in birdies with 3.  Joel Slak of Folsom, CA (2011), playing in his first FCWT, is one stroke back at 78 and Nate Matherson of Danville, CA (2012) , playing in his first event of the season, is at 81.

In the Boys 11-12 division

Tyler Moore of Escondido, CA (2015) will be looking for his second win of the season when he starts with a 12 shot lead over 2nd place.  Moore led the field in birdies with 3 and pars with 10.  Twelve year old Gavin deFisser of Gilbert, AZ (2015) leads the rest of the field by one stroke.  DeFisser's round of 86 puts him one shot ahead of Shrish Dwivedi of Redwood City, CA (2015) who is at 87 and will start in 3rd place on Sunday.
