It was a foggy, foggy start to the day at the TPC Sawgrass Course. The Stadium Course had a 15 minute delay waiting for some visibility. Visibility didn't seem to be a problem for

Michael Sorenson of Hartland, WI (2009) who fired a 2 under par on Saturday to lead the Boys 16-18 division. Sorenson, a 3rd season player on the FCWT, was an All-American last year. He is playing in his first event of the season and will be looking for the win. To do so he will have to hold off probably the "hottest" Boys 16-18 player so far this season on the FCWT:

Patrick Rodgers of Avon, IN (2011). Rodgers has won 4 times already this year, with one additional T3. Patrick fired a bogey-free round of one under par on Saturday and will start the final round tied with

Kevin Dougherty of Murrieta, CA (2009). Dougherty led TEAM USA to victory and won the individual title at the ASU Challenge in December. One stroke back at even par and tied for 4th place are:

Stephane Dubois of Brantford, ON, CANADA (2010) and

Jeff Wibawa of Encino, CA (2010). Dubois struggled on the front nine, but got it going on the backside, carding a 4 under par on that nine. He hopes to carry that momentum into Sunday's final round. Wibawa has two Top 5 finishes already this season and has shown he can go Low in the final round - watch for him on Sunday as he is only 2 strokes back of the lead. FCWT veteran player,

Brant DeLongy of Winter Park, FL (2009), is in 6th place at 73 (+1) while three players will start the final round tied for 7th at 74:

Raymond Gillip II of Las Vegas, NV (2009), who has 2 wins already this season,

Nicholas Grubnich of Crown Point, IN (2011), 15, who finished tied for 2nd at Notre Dame, and Chad Merzbacher of Dublin, OH (2012), 14, who was an FCWT All-American last season. The threesome tied for 10th are only 5 strokes back of our leader with 18 holes to play. They are Jay Pinkos of Clifton, VA (2011), John Callahan of Hinsdale, IL (2010), and John Varol of Weddington, NC (2010). |
