Junior Girls: Play With Champions!
If you’re under the age of 18 and have a USGA Handicap Index® of 18.4 or lower, you can play with the finest junior girl golfers in the world and compete for our national championship – the United States Girls’ Junior. The 2009 U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship will be held July 20-25 at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J. This is a special year: The Girls’ Junior will be played concurrently with the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship on Trump National’s two outstanding courses. The deadline to enter this year’s championship is June 3. Applications are available online at www.usga.org - the USGA’s official Web site – or you can download an application by clicking on this link. The entry fee is only $25, and that includes an 18-hole qualifying round at one of 31 sectional qualifying sites across the country. These qualifying rounds take place from June 15 to June 30 -- choose the site and date most convenient to you when you fill out the application. Test your game, meet other serious junior golfers and enjoy playing golf at the highest level by entering the 2009 U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship. Remember, the entry deadline is June 3 at 5 p.m. (EDT), so file your entry today. Attention, Junior Boys: The deadline to enter the 2009 Junior Amateur Championship is June 3, 5 p.m. (EDT). To enter, you must not have reached your 18th birthday before midnight, July 25, and you must have an up-to-date Handicap Index not exceeding 6.4. Find the application online at usga.org/championships. Sectional qualifying (36 holes, stroke play) takes place at 62 sites around the country, June 10-30.
