Cameron Tringale (Georgia Tech), Erik Flores (USC), and Steve Ziegler (Stanford), all former FCWT players, represented the American Team in the Palmer Cup which was played in Denver at Cherry Hills on June 4th and 5th. Dave Melton (FCWT staff member) was there showing his support. Mike VanSickle (recently graduated from Marquette University) [not pictured], another FCWT alum, was also a member of the Palmer Cup team.
VanSickle, who was awarded the 2009 Byron Nelson Award, will have his first opportunity to play in a PGA Tour event this July thanks to a sponsor exemption into the U. S. Bank Championship. This year's event will be July 13-19 at Brown Deer Park Golf Club in Milwaukee.
