Future Collegians World Tour

 What a perfect day we had on Saturday, September 19th.  The FCWT has become a regular guest of the Tantallon Golf Club who play at North Berwick Golf Club in Scotland.  This year they decided to come and visit the FCWT and challenge their skills on "non-links" courses in the Philadelphia area.

The players representing the FCWT were pleased to welcome a few Philadelphia Junior PGA players for the friendly match.  The boys went out in four's, and they each played a single match and a four-ball better-ball match.  The difference was that it was played over the 18 holes, so no matter how far up you were, your opponent always had the opportunity to claw his way back into the match.

The results were as follows:

Chris 5 up vs Bobby

Zach 2 up vs Mike (Scotland)

Chris and Mike were 2 up over Bobby and Zach

Cameron 3 up vs Liam

Jimmy 6 up vs Sandy

Cameron and Jimmy were 1 up over Liam and Sandy

Nick 1 up vs Aaron

Frazer 5 up vs Paul

Nick and Frazer were 5 up over Aaron and Paul

Ally 2 up vs Louis

Mike 3 up vs Blair

Louis and Mike were 3 up over Ally and Blair.

 

The final results were very close Scotland 20 over FCWT 18.  The true result was 16 young guys behaving like gentleman, having fun and meeting new friends all through this wonderful game of golf.
